Eric M. Albritton graduated first in his class from the College of Arts & Sciences at Baylor University, where he was elected into Phi Beta Kappa and named Outstanding Senior Man. He attended Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley, where he was Managing Editor of Ecology Law Quarterly. After graduating in 1994, he served as a law clerk for one year to the Honorable William Wayne Justice, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and then as a law clerk for one year to Honorable Henry A. Politz, then-Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for Fifth Circuit. Since finishing his second clerkship, Mr. Albritton has been in private practice.
Mr. Albritton is admitted to practice in the states of Texas and Colorado, all United States District Court in Texas and Arkansas, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fifth, Sixth and Federal Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit, the Bar Association for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and the Northeast Texas Bar Association.
Mr. Albritton is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Honorable T. John Ward American Inn of Court. He is the author of two law review articles, has spoken at various seminars and has been a guest commentator on Court TV. Most importantly, he is a husband and father of two children.
