Deb Coleman practices intellectual property and criminal law. She is a member of the State Bars of Texas and California and is admitted to practice in the Eastern District of Texas.
Before joining the Albritton Law Firm, Ms. Coleman was an associate at a large intellectual property law firm, where she primarily supported patent, trademark, and copyright litigation and also drafted patent filings in the fields of telecommunications networks, computer software, and e-commerce and business methods. In law school, Ms. Coleman clerked in the Appellate Division of the Travis County District Attorney’s Office, drafting appellate briefs and responses to writs of habeas corpus.
Prior to law school, Ms. Coleman was a software engineer at a large semiconductor company, where she supported capacity planning and other factory operations. Ms. Coleman credits this experience with developing the focused problem-solving approach that she brings to the practice of law.
