Steve Edwards’ practice is devoted to intellectual property law and primarily focused on patent litigation. He has represented clients in a broad range of technologies including clients in the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology/life sciences, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, medical device, oil well drilling and oil field equipment, computer security, digital entertainment distribution and computer related industries. Over the course of his career, Mr. Edwards has received a Peer Review Rating of AV Preeminent.

Mr. Edwards is admitted to practice in the State of Texas and is a patent attorney registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is also admitted to practice in the Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas, the Northern District of California, and before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Edwards is a member of Eastern District Bar Association, the Texas Bar Association including the Intellectual Property Law Section, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the American Bar Association. He is also a Life Member of the Texas Bar Foundation.

Before joining the Albritton Law Firm, Mr. Edwards was a partner in the Houston patent litigation boutique of Williams, Morgan & Amerson for three and a half years practicing exclusively on cases venued in the Eastern District of Texas. Prior to that, Mr. Edwards spent 15 years, first as an associate and then as a partner, with the Houston office of the Intellectual Property boutique Arnold, White & Durkee and then Howrey, LLP following their merger.
